For campers who are sophomores in high school, you have the opportunity to register to go to Israel with Wilshire Boulevard Temple Camps and The North American Federation of Temple Youth (NFTY). Journey with camp friends and hundreds of teens from across North America to experience the most incredible summer of your life. During an amazing 4 ½ -week adventure in Israel, you will experience for yourself the epic story of the Jewish People. After a summer of traveling, touring, hiking, climbing, exploring, and discovering, you will return home with endless personal accomplishments, meaningful memories and stories you'll never forget. On this Page you will find the first round of information about Israel Scholarships. Some of these scholarships start their application process after the New Year. Please read the information closely and follow the link I have provided. To receive scholarship from our camps you must request the form or download it from our website. Please note that these will be evaluated before any scholarship is awarded. Don’t hesitate to contact me with any questions you may have. Remember, you are signing up for the 4 week Adventure Program and you are choosing the option of going with Wilshire Boulevard Temple Camps.

Scholarship Information
Seven different kinds of financial aid are available for you, depending on where you live. Forms will start to be available to you online at www.wbtcamps.org/forms.asp starting November 18. Below is a breakdown of the different scholarships and who they are for:
For Everyone
- $250- NFTY In Israel Gift Certificate to anyone who became a Bar/Bat Mitzvah at a Reform congregation and should be sent to NFTY in Israel, 46 Bowen Road, Warwick, NY 10990
- Financial Aid is also available through Wilshire Boulevard Temple Camps. To receive this form Please call or email Eric at the office at 213.388.2401x207 or eric@wbtcamps.org
- $450- Mark and Peachy Levy Scholarship Fund (Due May). Available to any participant in need who resides in the URJ Pacific Southwest Council and is a congregant of a Reform synagogue. For the information, check out www.urj.org/youth/levyscholarship/howtoapply after January 1.
- $500- Los Angeles Federation Partnership Grant (Due May 15) available to any participant who lives in the area of the Los Angeles Federation who is receiving at least $250 from any other source (usually your congregation) who is considered to be a “partner” with the LA Federation.
- Federation Need Based Grant/Financial Aid Application through the Jewish Federation of Los Angeles (Due April 15) available to anyone on a need basis

- $1180- Harold and Jeane Grossman Teen Israel Experience Scholarship and London Gold Jewelers Scholarship. Applicants must live in the surrounding Phoenix, AZ area. Go to www.jewishphoenix.org/page.aspx?id=103184
- Maximum of $1000- Passports to Jewish Life Award Program through the Jewish Federation Orange County. Applicants must live in Orange County, and applications will be available by the middle of January. Contact Chelle Friedman at chelle@jfoc.org.
