A SPECIAL THANK YOU TO OUR NEWEST CAMPERSHIP DONORS…
EACH SUMMER, more than 1,200 campers enter our gates for the best summer of their lives. They come to form friendships, play, learn and connect to a unique community that exists nowhere else other than at camp. Wilshire Boulevard Temple Camps strive to make the life-changing experience of camp available to every child who wishes to attend. Through the foresight and generosity of alumni, camp parents and many others, we are able to offer significant scholarship assistance to those who otherwise could not afford to attend our camps. We are grateful to acknowledge three new campership funds which have recently been endowed.
The Lois Jeanne Levy Memorial Campership Fund was established by J. Lampert Levy. Lois Jeanne was one of the first campers when the camps opened and her parents were involved in the early development of the camps.
At the request of the Tarica Family, the Maurice Amado Foundation established the Yoni Licht Memorial Scholarship Fund for children who have been impacted by the chronic long-term disease or illness of another family member.
The Slutske Family Fund was endowed by the entire Slutske family in loving memory of Raye and Lou Slutske.
Thanks to these individuals and families, the summer of 2008 will provide a lifetime of camp memories to a number of kids. To assist a child in attending our camps please contact Cheri Lauterbach in the Camp's Alumni & Development office at 213-388-2401.
Camp Alumni - where are you?
We are updating our database and want to reach as many camp alumns as possible. Please send current contact information (including maiden name) to cheri@wbtcamps.org.
