Prepared with Care

Healthy campers are happy campers. From balanced meals to mindful moments, every part of camp life is designed to help kids feel strong and nourished inside and out.

Nutritious food, expert care, and a culture of kindness keep every camper thriving all summer long.

Fuel for Fun

We believe that good food fuels great days. From the first pancake breakfast to the last s’more, every meal at camp is made with care, flavor, and a big helping of joy.

Our kitchen team plans menus that balance comfort food with fresh favorites to keep kids energized for all the adventures ahead. Meals are served kosher-style (no pork or shellfish, and no mixing milk and meat), with plenty of options for every diet and appetite. Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and allergy-friendly meals are all available, and always delicious.

Meals & Memories

Meals mean more at camp.

Campers sit together, share stories, and work collaboratively to clean up after meals. Every Friday night, we gather for Shabbat dinner, celebrating with challah, singing, and laughter that fills the room. It’s a taste of Jewish tradition served with joy, gratitude, and a sense of belonging.

Wellness & Care

Being away from home can be exciting and emotional. Our job is to keep campers healthy, comfortable, and cared for so they can focus on having fun.

Medical Care on Site

Camp has at least two licensed nurses on site at all times, with an ER pediatrician available by telehealth. Our nurses hold set hours for camper and staff health calls. The Health Center stocks common over-the-counter medications such as acetaminophen, ibuprofen, and antihistamines.

Prescribed Medications

For safety and accuracy, we use a licensed pre-packaging service that dispenses prescriptions in clearly labeled, time-stamped packets and ships them directly to camp. We currently partner with WellspringRx, which complies with all camp medication regulations. Families receive simple instructions for enrolling in the service after registration.

Community Care

Beyond bumps and bug bites, we prioritize daily rhythms that support well-being, from plenty of rest and hydration to caring adult check-ins. Campers are encouraged to speak up and ask for help from our Community Care team. They are supported as they take good care of themselves and each other.

Mental, Emotional, Spiritual & Social Health (MESSH)

Our camps are proud participants in the Foundation for Jewish Camp’s Yedid Nefesh Grant, a four-year initiative dedicated to strengthening the mental, emotional, spiritual, and social health of our entire community.

Thanks to this partnership, we’ve expanded our therapeutic and integrative support for both campers and staff. Our Director of Community Care works with families year-round, helping them prepare for the summer and supporting staff with ongoing training and education to ensure every camper feels seen and supported.

With the help of this grant, we’ve also added wellness-focused programming, including yoga, meditation, and journaling, empowering campers and staff to deepen their relationship with mental health, self-awareness, and resilience.

This holistic approach continues to shape how we care for our community, building strength and connection that lasts far beyond summer.
